My name is Cathy and I registered as a childminder in May 2005. I have an enhanced Criminal Records Bureaux clearance and approval by Ofsted to mind children in my own home. I live in Downey Close, which is situated close to Willows Primary school, and many local amenities including a local library, park, and duck pond.

I am a network childminder – which I hope parents will feel proves my commitment to providing outstanding care to their children. I will also be in a position to offer funded places for 3 and 4 year olds from January 2008 for children within the early years foundation stage.

What can a childminder do for you?

Childminding offers the chance for your child to be cared for in a home from home environment, with one continuous carer. Childminder’s have the opportunity to really get to know your child and help them learn and develop, forming a stable ongoing relationship with the child, from when they are a baby through to when they need care around schooling.

Childminder’s can often offer very flexible hours contrary to other type of childcare. Hours that will suit you and you life/work balance.
