My home has been approved by Ofsted as safe place for your children to be cared for and learn in a fun and stimulating environment
My children regularly go home with various works of art. As well as the usual painting and drawing, we also use cultural festivals and seasons to create models, masks, and mouth watering treats to take home!
Children get to choose activities from the wide selection of toys, books, and crafts available. They may be making home in one corner and then decide to do some arts and crafts or be part of a rock band! Learning and expressing themselves the whole time.
I have a good sized garden with a range of toys, and we live close to a number of parks. Children need the fresh air and we spend as much time as the weather will permit, playing outside as part of their healthy lifestyle.
We go to various toddler groups where children interact and develop their social skills. This provides a good opportunity for the children to learn about others, and the world we live in. We have also recently taught children about road safety, and the green cross code.
Meals offered are healthy and nutritious. However I also recognise that younger children can be very fussy eaters. I work with the parent to find a suitable diet and menu option for your child. Menu’s are visible on our main notice board on a weekly basis, so that you can see what is on offer
